What if in a day where it seems easier and even safer to be cynical, pessimistic, and sarcastic, the United Methodist Church decided to side with Paul and his teaching, “Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus…”(Philippians 2:1-5)? I am willing to bet that the great people of First UMC love a great deal. I am also willing to bet that you like to see more bang for your buck than you expected. Well, have I got a deal for you!!!! If you are looking for a church that loves to welcome imperfect people; a church that is filled with people who are striving to live a more blessed and inspired life by being less religious, and who really want you to know that you matter to God why not come and worship with us this Sunday at 9:30. If you were impressed with last month's art exhibit then you won't want to miss this month's "Ramp it Up" event. This month's theme is "Casting Shadows".
